Design & Manufacture

Head product designer Max Brunner travels to China several times each year to design and oversee the manufacture, testing and creation of new, spectacular and unique special effects. Much like any artist, Max begins the creative process with conceptual sketches. From sketches we progress to computer modeling and detailed design. Once the design is complete, pyro-chemists design the pyrotechnic formulas required to bring our concepts to life.

The best pyrotechnic ingredients are sourced from around the globe. Sulfur and saltpeter are sourced from Germany to make refined black powder. Titanium powders are sourced from Italy and the USA, producing brilliant silver effects. Sulfates and nitrates are sourced throughout Asia and Australia to ensure the brightest colours, unique effects and low smoke productions that are the trademarks of our products
